WANTED! A Wellington-based marathon runner who can represent Wellington City in the 2015 Senshu International City marathon in Osaka, on 15 February 2015.
Our successful representative will travel FREE to Japan, staying three nights in a hotel and three nights in a Japanese homestay. This wonderful opportunity comes from Wellington's link with Sakai City,
one of the host cities for the Senshu marathon.

Our Wellington Sakai Association has had another busy year. Since our last AGM which was held on Tuesday 10 September last year, your committee have held a number of functions and participated in many events (see attachment). As the list is too long for me to report on every event, I shall report on a few highlights of the year.

Wellington Sakai Association again had a stall at this years Wellington Japan Festival on 23 August 2014. The WSA Committee bought some traditional "chusen" material from sister-city Sakai, and cut this into squares for use in a "furoshiki" experience on the WSA stall.
