Money for tsunami victims

 

During the year WSA arranged a tsunami fund raising dinner to help in a little way to bring the lives of

Japanese people affected by the earthqauke and subsequent disastrous tsunami. The money raised was taken to the Mayor Celia Wade- Brown and she then took the money to Sakai City during her visit there and presented it to the Mayor of Sakai City. In fact two cheques were presented: one from the WSA dinner and the other from funds raised on Sushi Day, in which some WSA committee members participated.
