JkaiWA (Japanese Conversation Evening) end-of-year party/忘年会 (bonenkai) will be held on Thursday 10 December (from 6pm). Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible (but by 5pm, Wednesday 2 December at the latest) to confirm your place.
The bonenkai is being held at an external venue (Meow, 9 Edward St) and is less of a conversation class and more of a casual get-together. Check out photos from the 2014 bonenkai under 'WSA Wrap-up November-December 2014'. In 2014 this event was held held at the Fork & Brewer, and featured a Japan-themed quiz. The winning team took home Tatsushi Japanese restaurant vouchers.
This event is open to everyone that wants to practice their Japanese conversation, so we encourage you to forward this flyer around your association and Japanese-speaking friends or share the link from the JICC Facebook page www.facebook.com/JICC.NZ/
The Wellington Sakai Association will collect a $2 entry on the door which will be used to provide light refreshments.
JkaiWA is organised by the Wellington JET Alumni Association, Wellington Sakai Association and Japan Society of Wellington and supported by the Embassy of Japan and the Wellington City Council.
